Wattleseed Brownies Recipe


250g Butter

2 tbsp wattleseed

1/2 cup cocoa

1 cup brown sugar

2 cups plain flour

3 eggs, lightly beaten

3/4 cup milk chocolate bits


  1. Melt the butter over low heat
  2. Add the wattleseed (when heated it releases the flavour), the cocoa then the sugar. Mix well
  3. Remove from heat and cool a little. Stire in the flour, eggs and choc bits.
  4. Put mixture into a square or rectangular cake tin
  5. Bake for 30 minutes in moderate oven
